Auckland Orienteering Club was proud to host the 2009 New Zealand Orienteering Championships for 2009. Thanks to everyone who participated and helped. Safe Journey Home.

The 2009 New Zealand Orienteering Championships featured:

  • Four days of top quality orienteering in the Auckland and Woodhill area

  • Easter Weekend - Friday 10 April to Monday 13 April 2009

Orienteers of all ages, experience and abilities participated in this four day fun filled event.

THE "mystery man" at the New Zealand Orienteering Championships, Taranaki dairy farmer Karl Dravitzki, took the national sprint title in Auckland today – a remarkable achievement considering it was his first serious orienteering event in six months.
